It has been a while!
Midterms update :-)

Sponge cake on the very bottom, raspberry mousse on top of the sponge, graham cracker crumbs in the middle, and a lemon curd bavarian cream on top.
It's covered in Italian Meringue, most of the meringue is brulee'd, and an assortment of fresh fruit with baked, candied lemon slices.

Yummy Finds

Scrumptious!
(pictures are links)

I ♥ bows
especially when they are big, silk, handmade, and under 20 dollars (including shipping)

A little pricey, but seriously now.. Handmade, gold, raw black diamonds, and just under 160 dollars.
Quite the decadent shopping splurge

I also enjoy the white raw diamond necklace

A steal for the same quality product and amazing hand-craftsmanship at less than 130 dollars.

I love rainy day shopping ♥

STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION

R26 and it's 4 menus!

John Sedlar's new restaurant R26 has announced that they will be keeping the same Rivera menu which will be slightly tweaked, but also including 3 separate menus to the list.
Since the restaurant R26 is Pan-Latin, each menu will be a different gastronomic journey through Latin cuisine.

After studying John Sedlar in my Art Culinaire class*, and throughly enjoying the vast array of mouth-watering tamales I believe that the food at R26 will be wonderful.
Now I have to add eating at Rivera and R26 to my ever expanding to-do list.

*Art Culinaire class:
Class where the weekly objective was to study a particular chef, understand where they receive their influences from, and to create some of their specialty dishes.
